> Roles may include:

  • Senior drafter or CAD designer
  • Use CAD (computer-aided design) software to prepare designs and drawings for buildings, systems and structures. Ensure compliance and consistency to professional standards and collaborate with architects, designers, engineers, surveyors and other professionals.
  • Project manager
  • Plan and coordinate the development of new structures, infrastructure or systems. Lead the research and development stages of projects – from design and planning, to managing budgets, staffing and equipment needs.
  • Site supervisor
  • Oversee and coordinate the daily operations of a worksite to ensure high performance and compliance with health and safety guidelines. Site supervisors typically work on large engineering projects in the building and construction industry.

>> Units 3 and 4: a study score of at least 25 in English (EAL) or at least 20 in English other than EAL.
