-In a core unit, you’ll examine the physiological and anatomical underpinnings of the human brain and nervous system. You'll investigate the relationship between brain structure and function and gain a deeper understanding of contemporary neuroscience concepts and principles.
-Plus, choose three listed units from a list of several to customise your study program according to your interests, skills, and aspirations.
-Discover the neurobiological basis of the major developmental, cognitive and anxiety disorders, and expand your knowledge across a wide range of clinical and scientific disciplines.
-Develop your understanding of neurophysiological, neuroimaging and neuropsychiatric diagnostic procedures, including clinical interviews and standardised self-report scales, used to assess and diagnose neurological dysfunction in humans.
-Learn about the neurobiological factors and processes associated with autism.
-Be introduced to the neurological pathophysiology of depression and an evaluation of treatments based on neurobiological processes.
-Be introduced to neurobiology, exploring the molecular, cellular and physiological underpinnings of the nervous system.
