Choose to study finance, management, marketing, human resource management, economics, or other units of your choice.
Target your career by taking elective units from other disciplines across the University. For example, pursue forensic accounting by studying accounting systems design; focus on IT systems by choosing from the computer science suite of units; or take screen or media studies units to open up possibilities to work in the film industry.
Qualify for admission to the major Australian professional accounting bodies for full membership and continuing professional development.
Qualify as a tax practitioner with only two additional units of study.
Fast track your degree and complete the Bachelor of Accounting in two years full time or four years part time if you choose elective units rather than an additional major.

Many of our students choose to take advantage of the on-campus lifestyle in Armidale, in the beautiful New England region, with access to unparalleled support, accommodation and sporting facilities. You will need to meet both the Academic and English Language Requirements to gain admission into this course. Meeting academic requirements means we review what you have already studied to see if you have the results needed for admission to your preferred course.
This course is offered under three admission rules, each with its own Course Structure (Program of Study).
Rule A: You have completed, at minimum, an Australian Year 12 qualification or overseas equivalent.
If you are admitted on this basis, you will be eligible for admission under Rule A. Please see the Rule A Course Structure (Program of Study).
Rule B: You have completed an approved overseas qualification from one of the following institutions:
Qingdao Technology University Qindao College
Shandong Institute of Business and Technology
Technical and Vocational Training Corporation
WUXI South Ocean College
If you are admitted on this basis, you will be eligible for admission under Rule B. Please see the Rule B Course Structure (Program of Study) for a list of approved overseas qualification from these institutions.
Rule C: You have completed the TAFE NSW Associate Degree in Accounting.
If you are admitted on this basis, you will be eligible for admission under Rule C. Please see the Rule C Course Structure (Program of Study).
