This is the only bachelor degree of its kind in South Australia and will prepare you for a professional career in the real estate industry. You will graduate with the expertise to become a real estate agent or property manager in residential, commercial and industrial property.
You will focus on specialised courses in areas such as management, marketing and entrepreneurship, and have the opportunity to undertake a minor in marketing to complement your specialist skills.
This degree is dynamic and its program structure is informed by industry and latest practical research in the field. Therefore, as a graduate you will be equipped with the knowledge and skill required by the industry.

Portfolio manager: making property investment decisions and carrying out investment activities on behalf of clients or institutions; implementing investment strategies; managing day-to-day portfolio operations
Property agency manager: managing and maintaining residential, commercial and/or industrial rental properties; analyzing market conditions and ensuring properties are occupied; organizing records and documents and handling contracts; organizing regular property maintenance
Property developer: researching land and property opportunities and evaluating the feasibility of a project; assessing the best use for the land or property; planning the property development, including the schedule and costs; working with architects, builders, and local councils
Real estate agency owner: owning, operating and managing a real estate agency
Real estate agent: negotiating and arranging the buying and selling in real estate transactions; advising clients on how to price properties and prepare for sale; marketing properties
Sales and leasing consultant: developing and implementing sales and leasing proposals for commercial land and property; negotiating lease and sales transactions; generate listings and service existing client sales
