In today’s fast-moving and complex business environment, those with advanced technical skills in accounting, analytics, economics, finance, information systems and marketing insights will find themselves in demand across a wide range of sectors. A knowledge of commerce is also increasingly valuable in careers such as health, law, psychology, science and technology.
In the Bachelor of Commerce, you’ll study a set of extensive and integrated foundation units that will orient you to commerce and business, followed by one or two majors to develop depth and specialisation in your chosen discipline. You’ll also acquire a set of sought-after employability skills – data literacy, business analysis, teamwork, communication, conflict resolution, problem solving, critical thinking and a global mindset, among others – all key competencies that today’s top employers regard extremely highly.
Note: If you’re interested in developing broad business skills suited to a vast range of professional and leadership roles, or building an entrepreneurial skill set, you might wish to consider undertaking our Bachelor of Business.
