All Macquarie University applicants are required to provide evidence of English language proficiency. The standard of English required for entry is based on the IELTS Academic test. Other accepted evidence of English proficiency, including minimum scores on other English tests and qualifications, can be checked using the conversion tool.

The required standard of English for entry is:

Student amenities fee

You’re required to pay the Student Services and Amenities Fee (SSAF) to Macquarie University in compliance with the Higher Education Legislation Amendment (Student Services and Amenities) Act 2011 (Cth). The fee contributes to services, support and facilities of a non-academic nature.

This scholarship is awarded to all eligible students applying for a Macquarie University bachelor degree through the Universities Admissions Centre (UAC).

• The scholarship supports Foundation, Diploma or Undergraduate study for students who are holders of a temporary or bridging visa and are seeking asylum in Australia.
