The Bachelor of Engineering Science is offered as an entry program to a Bachelor of Engineering (Honours). It is also offered as a three-year exit course for the Bachelor of Engineering (Honours).
The course structure, core subjects and electives are similar to the first three years of the Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) course.
The Bachelor of Engineering Science is offered with key programs in Civil, Electrical and Mechanical Engineering.

Admission to Western Sydney University is competitive and is on the basis of academic merit. All undergraduate and postgraduate degrees have a minimum IELTS score of 6.5 with no band lower than 6.0 (or equivalent).
