Summary
Accounting – the collection, measurement and communication of financial information that is used for planning, reporting and decision making – is often referred to as the language of business. Understanding this language means accountants hold the privileged position of being key contributors to a business’ success. Armed with such skills, accountants can apply their knowledge in any number of dynamic industries.
The Bachelor of Professional Accounting will enable you to understand the challenges and issues facing the accounting profession at present. It will also help you meet the requirements for membership of accounting professional bodies, including CPA Australia, Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand (CA ANZ), the Institute of Public Accountants (IPA) and the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA). The degree is fully accredited by each of these bodies.
