International Year One (UTP Stage II)
>> Communication, Art and Technology is equivalent to the first year of SFU’s Bachelor of Arts degree.
>> The courses provide introduction to three Schools housed within the Faculty of Communication, Art and Technology.
>> The first year of learning is a foundation for a bachelor of arts degree in Communication, Interactive Arts and Technology or a double minor specialization.

>> Associate of Arts Degree generally requires the successful completion of Year 12 of secondary school or its equivalent with overall and individual subject requirements depending on program. Specific minimum academic requirements are listed below. *

>> Entry into Foundation (UTP Stage I) generally requires the successful completion of Year 11 or its equivalent with overall and individual subject requirements depending on program. Specific academic requirements are listed below.
>> The minimum age requirement at FIC is 17 years old. Students must turn 17 by the last day of their first semester to be admitted.
