BACHELOR OF PROFESSIONAL COMMUNICATION
The Bachelor of Professional Communication is practically-oriented and focuses on workplace relevance for future communication professionals. Organisations depend on communication professionals to devise and implement strategies to create and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders. The Bachelor of Professional Communication provides a unique blend of public relations and communication practice to plan organisational communication in diverse organisations. The course offers an inclusive portfolio of communication practices, such as media writing, speech, contemporary photo-media and introductory digital publishing, as well as specialist professional units in organisational communication and public relations. Graduate work-ready with practical training by undertaking a work placement or external client project as part of a capstone unit within this course. Another exciting feature of this course is the exit award that is built into the course. You may wish to be awarded the Diploma of Professional Communication as an exit award after successfully completing eight units, including six units from the core structure. You are able to tailor your studies by choosing to major in digital media production, human resource management, journalism, management, marketing or social enquiry. To study the Bachelor of Professional Communication you must have high-level English skills as the course involves an intensive writing element.
