Overview

  • From small law firms to the United Nations International Court of Justice, the legal profession shapes every aspect of our society, politics and economics.
  • Law regulates how we buy and sell goods and services, and how we govern ourselves. It defines how we prosecute and defend, and how we secure the rights of people who may not be able to protect themselves. All of Swansea's Bachelor of Law (LLB) courses are qualifying law degrees.

Successful completion of this pathway will lead to the award of one of the following from Swansea University:

  • Law, LLB (Hons)
  • Law with Criminology, LLB (Hons)
  • Law with International Relations, LLB (Hons)
  • Law with Politics, LLB (Hons)
  • Law in Practice, LLB (Hons)

Entry Requirements

Academic Requirements

1 Semester - Successful completion of HSC certificate with minimum average of 55% overall or GPA of 2.2

2 Semester (or 3 Semester where available) - Completion of HSEC 10 with grade average of 50%. or GPA of 2.0 Where relevant subjects are required a 50% mark must be achieved.

For subjects in Engineering and Science, students must achieve a minimum 50% in Maths.
