You'll develop up to two curriculum specialisations that you'll take straight into the classroom when you graduate. Choose from science, languages, arts, psychology, physical education and many more. Or delve deeper in your area of interest with a specialisation in drama, mathematics, physical education, business management, commerce and business, science and visual arts.

Academic entry requirement
> Prerequisites
>> Successful completion of an Australian bachelor degree (or equivalent).
> Specialisation - compulsory: In a relevant discipline area/s for primary or secondary teaching as per the National Program Standards and the Victorian Institute of Teaching. For secondary teaching, students must qualify in either one double (Drama, Mathematics, Physical Education, Commerce, and Visual Arts) or two single method-teaching areas from the listed disciplines: Arts, English, Health, Physical Education, Humanities, Languages, Mathematics, Outdoor education, Science, SOSE and TESOL.
> Selection criteria
>> All applicants will complete a situation judgement test to support selection into teaching programs. This is a requirement for initial teacher training courses in Victoria and aims to assess an applicants personal and professional attributes.
> English language requirement
>> 7.0 IELTS (Academic) with no individual band less than 7.0 and a score of no less than 7.5 in Speaking and Listening.
> Estimated fees per year (2025):
>> A$34 600 per 120 credit points.
>>> Note: 120 credit points represents full-time study for one year.

>> Destination Australia – an Australian Government initiative
>>> The Destination Australia scheme supports new international students to study in regional Australia and offers students a high-quality learning experience. For eligible applicants, these scholarships are worth up to A$15 000 per annum for up to four years.
