> These degrees will provide you with a broad understanding of Sociology/social policy and welfare issues and how we experience them as a society.

> Social Policy and Sociology offer progression to the Faculty of Humanities and Social Science at Swansea University.

Successful completion of this pathway will lead to the award of one of the following from Swansea University:

  • Social Policy, BSc (Hons)
  • Sociology, BSc (Hons)

Academic Requirements

1 Semester - Successful completion of HSC certificate with minimum average of 55% overall or GPA of 2.2

2 Semester (or 3 Semester where available) - Completion of HSEC 10 with grade average of 50%. or GPA of 2.0 Where relevant subjects are required a 50% mark must be achieved.

For subjects in Engineering and Science, students must achieve a minimum 50% in Maths.
